Happy Father's Day!

We were prepared early this year! Eric, Lindsay and I went to Color Me Mine and made Justin some one of a kind collectibles! I do need to give Emma some credit because we wouldn't have been so successful without her help. Eric has been dying to use the plate he made for his dad, but I kept telling him he had to wait until after his dad used it for the first time. (Don't worry, Eric is still alive.)

We made a yummy breakfast of waffles with fresh strawberries and whip cream! Justin was very impressed and hungry, but camera shy. He was hoping I only shot the plate and waffle :)

The plate Eric made says "Dad's Famous Burgers". Famous is in cursive and Eric will proudly point out that he did it all by himself! This is way more impressive when you find out that Eric is in the 1st grade and won't learn cursive until 3rd grade, but it also means it's hard to read... he definitely gets an "A" for effort!

Lindsay, with mine and Emma's help, made a jelly bean bowl. She was replacing the bowl that she broke months ago, which was one of Justin's favorite bowls from Japan. I'm still so glad that her hand prints came out so well! It cracks me up to think about how much Lindsay hated getting her hand painted, and no one went home with paint on their clothes (that is success in my book). Thanks Emma for your help, we love you!
