There is a book on preparing for the AT-SAT. I looked in several bookstores, but they all informed me that the book had to be ordered. It wasn't popular enough to keep handy on the shelves. My other option in preparing for the test was to go over some material the FAA put out online. It was a very informative booklet that gave a thorough look at all aspects of being an air traffic controller. The booklet gave me the idea that the test was going to be based on memory and exactness. My memory isn't what it used to be since I had the baby. (I'm hoping that it will eventually return to its full potential.) So I was a worried that I wouldn't do as good as I needed to. I had a glimmer of hope when the test administrator told us the key to testing well was to read and follow the directions... let's hope its really that easy.
After six hours of testing and an hour for lunch I finished! My brain is scrambled and I'm not convinced that I did very well. My hubby tells me otherwise, but he didn't see the test or how many planes I crashed in the simulator excercise. Thanks for the support honey!
Time will tell how I did. One of the test administrators told me I would get a score by next week. Keep your fingers crossed!
