Nacho Party

There was a nacho night at church this evening. I wasn't sure if Justin would go, so I asked him anyway. He was a great sport and came! He even wore the Halloween shirt I got him at Old Navy earlier for $1. Lindsay did a preview of her black cat costume, I had to be sure she would survive with the ears and painted on nose & wiskers. I wasn't sure who would be there and exactly what the plan was, but I was hoping for the best.

There were a couple families, most of whom I didn't know, and a jumpee with a slide! We got some chairs, our nachos and joined the crowd. It didn't take long before one of the men had Justin in conversation. Justin is a man of few words (LOL) so they talked for quite a while.

I tried to get Lindsay to play with her little friend from nursery, but she didn't want anything to do with her. We even checked out the new baby, Lindsay had been eyeing her since we walked in the door. She lost interest in that pretty quick too. I decided I would see how she did on the jumpee thing. The boys pretty much had that thing taken over and I wasn't sure how willing they were to have a girl, let alone a little girl, join in on the fun. They were really good and actually watched to make sure they didn't run her over in all their fun! After I got Lindsay's shoes, socks and ears off she was good to go! She was up and down the slide as fast as her little legs would allow. I tried to get her to go see Justin, but she wasn't leaving the jumpee for anything!

We had a great evening. Justin made some new male friends and even shot some hoops! I'm glad we were able to participate. Lindsay sure did have the best time! I don't think we will ever be able to get in eyesight of a jumpee without her getting on...

yay for silly church parties. Glad Justin went. Hopefully the talker man didn't scare him away. p.s. I am totally behind on your blog - this is from halloween! Where have I been?

I am enjoying catching up and getting all the funny stories. That is crazy about your wedding ring. Unbelievable really, but I believe you.
