Strawberries!

I'm learning a new language, computer geek. Its more difficult that I thought, but I will be a pro soon! Not really, but I'm going to keep a positive attitude about it. I'm really only learning how to use Quicken 2008.

The tax guy has been nice enough to come to the house to show me how to do it. Today we started with the easy stuff and put a few things together so I can input numbers. He said he will show me more after I understand what I learned today. I think it would be fun to explore, but I don't want to get intimidated by the unknown. The tax guy seemed all excited that I was learning the program. I think he was glad that he would have less work to do when are taxes get turned in. I don't blame him, its not the most entertaining thing to do.

The afternoon was alot more productive for us. Justin was doing some much needed yard work and adding some new plants to the yard. I made myself ever so useful and picked the strawberries! I've been watching them for a little while and have been waiting for the right moment to collect them. Today was the day! I got about a dozen of them. I left some that need a few more days and something else for me to look forward to. They were so yummy! It was a nice treat after being inside all morning.

I love the warmer weather and all the growth that happens. We planted raspberries last year and I am hoping that I will have some raspberries to pick soon. The dog pulled them out of the ground several times during winter since they looked like sticks to him. So far they seem to be growing normally and have forgotten the trauma the dog put them through.
