Alien take over

Eric has a poem he has to memorize in his homework every week. At first I thought he was the smartest kid alive when he would know the poem after only going over it once. I later found out that the teacher goes over the poem during school time. He is still very smart, but now I know one of his tricks!

After we went over Eric's poem today he kept repeating the word "come". He told me that he was speaking alien, then he asked if I could tell a difference when he said "come". It sounded the same to me every time he said it, but he made me listen again and again until I agreed otherwise. Come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come. I don't want to hear that word for a long time!

Justin and I think a lot alike. After dinner we were talking about how similar we think and how scary that was. Justin said 1-10, what number am I thinking? After doing this several times and getting it right every time, it turned into a joke. Eric found this extremely amusing! Now all I am hearing is "Katherine, Katherine 1-10. 1-10 Katherine, 1-10. This is scary!"

I guess I should be glad that I'm not having to hear it in alien as well!
