Ohhhh!

It was a long day for everyone today.  By the end of the day when I am ready to pass out Lindsay is still running around like a crazy person!  I have tried putting her in her bed, which can result in her screaming and then Eric doesn't get any sleep.  So most of the time she falls asleep with me in my bed or in the chair and I carry her to her bed.  It's just easier on everyone that way.  Tonight was not going to be that easy.

Lindsay was not going to sit still, which is key in the going to sleep routine.  She likes to use any distraction available to her and as long as he is home it is daddy.  I usually let her go tell him good night once.  She will stay with him and fall asleep sometimes, but that wasn't happening tonight!  It was a battle.  I caved!  I'm I'm totally ok with that.

After I didn't hear her for a little while and Justin hadn't seen her, I figured we better start hunting for our little rascal.  Lindsay doesn't like to answer when you call her name, totally helpful when she is small and can hide pretty much anywhere.  So it was a hunt.  I looked in all the regular places; closet, on the couch, under blankets and behind everything!  She was still missing.  Lucky for me Mr. Brilliant was home.  He looked in Eric's bed and there she was all curled up and fast asleep.
