Today was an early morning! We were all at the hospital by 8am, sitting and waiting. Shannon went in for surgery at 6:30, so we had to be ready when they wheeled the baby out. I'm not much of an early riser, so I wasn't thrilled but Shannon and Chason were definitely worth it!
We saw James first and he looked a little stunned. He said the baby is big. I don't know who officially broke the news, but Chason weighed in at 11 lbs 6 ozs, 22.5 inches long! What a beast! I think each of his cheeks weighs about 2 lbs each. I'm glad Shan didn't have to push that guy out...
