Justin and I were both in agreement, after we got thru security and our first flight, that we didn't want to travel on airplanes with small children ever again! Our kids were fine, they actually did way better than I expected. It was the planning and the packing, dragging everyone and everything through the airport. We are dreading the flight home already. We have worked on a plan to hopefully have the way home go more smoothly.
Lindsay did a good job sitting with Justin on the first flight. The second flight she didn't want to leave me, but I had to feed Courtney. It worked out that Justin was able to pacify Courtney with his pinky until I got Lindsay to sleep, then we swapped. Everything was fine for a few hours until Lindsay woke with a start and screamed until she clawed her way over people to get back to me. Luckily that was the most excitement our kids made on the trip. I can't say the same for the family behind us! Their kids were all over the age of 6 and one had a tantrum yelling, screaming and even kicking Eric's chair for a while! Eric wasn't happy and knew I wouldn't ever let him get away with acting like that. He couldn't figure out why this kids parents weren't doing anything about it. It's a happy day for me when your child points out bad behavior in others and knows he shouldn't/ won't behave that way himself. (They do hear me, they just act like they don't listen!)

| Watching Kung Fu Panda during our layover in SLC. |
It was about 4 am by the time we got the the cabin. Of course it was light, but I was so exhausted I didn't care. Hopefully Eric and Lindsay will lay down and get some sleep!
