Micke Grove

More school activities! Today we went to Micke Grove Zoo. Eric has been here before so he wasn't totally excited to go, but he did get to ride on the school bus, which is totally cool. We were more timely today, so we didn't miss the bus!

Hubby, baby and I met the bus at the zoo. This was more of a challenge than we expected! The park has lots of different areas and there were several buses. The teachers are very smart and made t-shirts at the beginning of the year so every kid wears the same color on field trip day. Eric's class got bright neon yellow shirts and the sister class has bright neon green shirts, so they are usually pretty easy to find.

We found them playing on one of the jungle gyms, having a blast! The line for the zoo was really long, so the kids ate lunch before going to wait in line. Mrs. James, after waiting patiently, cut in line and paid for the kids so they would have some time before they had to get back on the bus. The kids had a good time looking at the seal, I think that was their favorite part. The monkeys were fun and the rest was a blur. I was at the end and tried to keep an eye out for any laggers. We make it out with all the kids! No one was eaten or lost.
