6 Months!

I can't believe its been 6 months! Lindsay is getting so big, so fast. We are going to get her official 6 month picture taken later... as soon as I find the right outfit.

As of today, Lindsay has two bottom teeth and expecting more any day. She is a bit of a crabby banana due to sore gums. She is sleeping well through the night (usually) and likes her crib more everyday. She has become quite the mover and shaker, she can get all around the floor pretty quickly! It's not your typical crawl on hands and knees, its more of an ape like crawl on hands and feet with her butt way up in the air. It's very entertaining to watch, especially when she adds in some rolls.

Lindsay is always full of smiles. Eric has a way of getting her to laugh and laugh! I can get a laugh, but I have to work at it. Eric just shows up and her smile is ear to ear, lots of laughing always follows. Its great that they are bonding and getting along so well... that is until Lindsay makes a stinky. Then Eric runs away making all kinds of gagging noises, like he is going to die, but it never fails he comes back to see the evidince in the diaper. Boys!

Lindsay is working her way into the world of solid foods. She has had rice cereal for about a month and bananas for about 2 weeks. She hasn't been real thrilled with solids the last few days due to teething, but I'm sure that will change. Eric likes to share his fruit by the foot wrapper with her. I wasn't sure why that was a bad thing until we were at the Jelly Belly Factory a couple of weeks ago and realized she was not just enjoying chewing on the paper, she was sucking the leftover flavor off as well! She smelled a little to fruity and not enough like spit up... it was a dead give away. That priviledge has been relinquished for a few years.

Justin can't believe how fast she has grown and is ready for another one. Is he crazy!? I always hear how quickly moms forget the pain of birth, its not far from my mind! And just in case, Justin was kind enough to video the experience. I haven't watched it and don't plan to, I have plenty pictures that are reminder enough. If any other reminders are necessary it would be the gobbs of hair I continue to lose and lack of sleep (this is due to internet surfing and enjoying alone time, not the babies fault). I knew that my boobs would get bigger and shrink, but I didn't know they would get smaller than they started off! Not a good trade.

I guess we'll keep her for now, but that can always be changed. I'm not sure about the terrible two's and back-talking tweens! What did I get myself into?

I love you Lindsay, my beautiful baby.

I am feeling you on the half of my hair volume falling out post pregnancy and the amazing shrinking boobs! At least the boobs can be fixed and the hair grows back!
