Helpers

Justin wears many hats, one of his favorites is chef extraodinaire! You can't tell him otherwise, so I just enjoy the creations which are always very good. Eric has learned the best way to hang out with dad is to do what he is doing. Since Eric isn't getting a cell phone anytime soon, helping Justin cook is his best bet. Maybe he'll want to hang out with me and we could do housework! Positive thinking :)

Tonights menu was Pork Snichel (totally don't know how to spell that correctly). I do the salad, fruit or pretty much whatever I feel like. Tonight was easy for me, Justin already made potato salad. I opened a can of yummy three bean salad from Trader Joe's and cut up some fruit from the farmers market.

Lindsay didn't want to miss out on any of the fun! She loves her little Bumbo chair Aunt Shan let us borrow. She thinks she is one of us when she is right in the middle of everything. She loves to get her hands on whatever is in reach, mostly paper. I give her a wooden spoon and a wisk, which she gets bored of pretty quickly. Her dinner was rice cereal, it tastes like paste! I don't blame her for not wanting to eat it. She prefers buffet ala mom.

The Olympics are starting tonight, I'm very excited! Go USA!!
