I was setting the timer for 30 minutes and would get her to the bathroom to go each time. There were a few times Lindsay got to the toilet before the timer went off. She would come running in to tell me that she pee pee on the toilet! I've been more reluctant to give her candy after every time she has been on the toilet, mostly because she was still finding candy today and helping herself. I don't think I could hide candy well enough that Lindsay's nose couldn't sniff it out and she would drag a chair over so she could reach it. The pitfalls of a smart child.... she is already smarter than me!
In the late afternoon, while it was still hot, we planted some seeds. I'm hoping these flowers actually come up. Some of the other seeds we planted didn't even sprout! It was very disappointing. We did plant some beans Lindsay picked out. I think she will be really excited for those, especially when the beans start growing. I don't think I can wait 50 days for that, so maybe this plant will grow at super speeds. The other food bearing plants will appreciate it the most. Ok, Justin probably will. He is really tired of Lindsay picking green tomatoes and lemons. I don't blame him. Grow beans, GROW!!
Interesting tidbit on the Nightly News (Yes, I do watch the news while Justin is out of town, it usually puts me to sleep. Recently I learned it puts Lindsay to sleep too!):
Spirit Airlines CEO made a comment that luggage was "not essential" to travel, which is why they will be charging up to $45 to put carry ons on in the overhead bins, under the seat in front of you is free.
I would like to see the CEO before his next trip. He must have self cleaning undies! Who needs a toothbrush, toothpaste and deodorant? And let's not even get into traveling with a baby! All those years I was flying and carrying around unneeded luggage. Where was this information then?!
And just when you thought it couldn't get any better... The following story on the news was about TSA advertising on pizza boxes for employees. Yes, that is correct, they really strive to get the best of the best on the job to protect our skies!
What is this world coming too??

Oh how I wish luggage was unnecessary! I am just about to pack for all 6 of us to fly to CA (including a 3 week old!) and it would be so nice if we could just show up with nothign but our kids!
