This morning I was awakened by Lindsay, "I pee pee in the toilet! YEAH!!" I could barely grumble out, "Good girl honey, go back to bed." It wasn't until she came in shouting, "I pooped in the toilet, YEAH!!" that I shot out of bed to see what kind of mess I was going to have to clean up.
I was pleasantly surprised to see that Lindsay took care of herself perfectly! I checked her behind to make sure there wasn't any leftovers, nothing. There was no evidence on the toilet seat or anywhere else. I was amazed that my little darling who had two accidents yesterday had not one problem this morning! I looked inside the toilet and saw about half a roll of toilet paper, no kidding she was totally clean! Potty training first, paper training forever!
Yeah Lindsay, I'm so proud of you! You did such a good job today getting yourself to the toilet. I hope this is the new normal and we don't have yesterday occurring again tomorrow... I'm not ready for that again.
Lindsay did have a poop accident this evening, but it was to be expected. We weren't going to have a perfect day of potty training after only 5 days! She was cleaning the bathroom with Lysol wipes when I found her, luckily she wasn't start using them on herself!
I threw Lindsay in the tub and noticed a little visitor was in there too. She didn't notice the spider until I pointed it out. Being the big meanie I am, I playfully screamed which scared her into a bloody murder scream. While she was clawing her way out of the tub I rinsed him down the drain... or I thought I did! He reappeared within a few seconds, I playfully screamed again. Lindsay was now completely beside herself! (I am a terrible mother, but it was so funny!) As she was getting out of the tub I was holding her in and killing the spider. Even after the spider was dead, she still didn't want to stay in the tub. I wasn't about to let her out, I didn't want to clean the bathroom again! I moved her to the side and rinsed the spider down the drain, which somehow flowed right past her toes... totally not on purpose!
Now the tough part was getting Lindsay by the water spout, located directly above the drain. She came, but not without letting me know that she was watching for the spider to climb out again. We got her butt clean and out of the tub. I screamed again for fun which got her all worked up. I've probably traumatized her but even now, hours later, I think its funny!

That is hilarious.... but yeah, you have definitely caused a lifelong spider phobia! She will be relating to her husband someday how she was trapped in a bath tub with a spider and that is why she screams when she sees spiders! LOL.
