Well Balanced

Lindsay fell asleep on a stool while eating a cookie.  I always know when she is quiet that she is getting into trouble or she fell asleep somewhere.  At least she didn't go hiding and was really easy to find.

Lindsay, Courtney and I went around the block.  We have a nice little block, so I didn't think I was taking on a huge task by taking Lindsay around on her scooter.  She has gotten really good on it too.  We had to stop when we saw snakes, also known as worms, dried up on the sidewalk.  Then it was triangles and squares on the driveways.  There were a few holes in the cement we checked out too.  The longest stop was at this dirty gray cat house, Lindsay didn't want to leave.  She did find a roly poly there and that almost got her away... we were going home to show it to Daddy.  I finally got her moving!  Needless to say, the roly poly didn't make it home.  Towards the last corner I had to pull her on the scooter.  I knew it was going to happen at some point in time, but she went way further than I expected.  It must have been all the stops we made, she was able to catch her breath.

Justin did lots of hard labor today.  Nothing like real labor, but hard for a man :)  The yards, both front and back, look awesome!  They start looking a little shabby before he gets home.  The only issue I have is with the poor plant in the front, its almost totally naked of its leaves!  I'm sure it will grow back, but in the meantime I feel kind of bad for it.

We picked a zucchini!  It was really yummy!  The peas are growing well.  A worm ate my zinnias, I had snail bait all over it.  Who knew!  I'm hoping at least one of the many lemon seeds I planted will grow.  We have a lemon tree, but its not doing well.  I figure I would try some of the seeds from my moms lemons... her tree is very abundant!  I'm keeping my fingers crossed!  Maybe I can start and avacado tree too, yum!
