Lindsay and Eric love each other to pieces, or rather they were about ready to tear each other to pieces. Summer is great for hanging out and playing. Pestering your sister, pestering your parents. I have heard it all today! She did this, she is picking on me. He did that. On and on and on! I don't think the heat helps, it only adds to the irritants.
I figured since we were not enjoying ourselves we would go else where and hopefully find some peace. I got food, towels, balls, the frisbee, the camera and the baby (she was so quiet, I almost forget about her). Things were better at the park. Eric and Lindsay were really enjoying the swings. Lindsay thinks she is a big kid now and will only go on the big swing. For some reason she thinks this is time to take off her shoes and roam freely, I didn't have the energy to fight her to keep them on.

After a short snack break Eric and I played with the frisbee. We had a great time, except he was throwing kind of far and making me run around. I know I need some exercise, but this was not the way I wanted to do it. Just in case I missed anything Eric was sure to do an instant replay in slo mo with sound effects! It doesn't get much better than that! The true tragedy is that I didn't get all this on video for future viewing, it was rather amusing watching his version of what happened.
In the midst of our fun game Lindsay got bored with the playground and came running over. It was the craziest thing to watch, since it all went in slow motion for me. Lindsay and the frisbee (not a real frisbee a flat disc with a big hole in the middle) collided! They both went down in a heap. I heard her call me and I saw the frisbee coming, it hit her in the face below her left eye. She was pretty tough and only cried a little. It wasn't until later that I saw it made a noticeable mark!
Now Lindsay looks like we abused her. She has been saying, "Look at my face! Eric hit me!" Eric is not thrilled with her version of the story. He feels bad and I told him it was an accident, she will be fine. Her face will heal, hopefully her memory will heal with it. The funny thing is I was mored worried about her not wearing shoes all day... I should have had her in a helmet!
Fun pictures of Eric and Lindsay playing... some funny pictures too :)
